Consciousness Expansion with Teresa
Oct 19 @ 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Teresa’s joyful presence is a blessing. Take time out of your busy life to sit with with her in the bliss of meditation and explore the expansion of consciousness through the power of sound.

PEACE always begins inside of YOU, and ME.  There is a simple WAY to cultivate personal inner peace.  It is called MEDITATION.

Jjoin us at Dharma Center for a powerful meditation while we sit together as a sangha.

Did you know that the practice of meditation is a pathway to direct experience with eternity?  Inside the silence of meditation, you will discover energy, power, and peace.

Meditation is where you dip into your own divine nature. Surprises surface as your mind settles into silence.

Melting Pot Buddhism & Meditation with Turīya
Oct 21 @ 11:00 am – 12:00 pm

Discover your inner power, joy, and peace during our weekly meditation practice sessions. Learn how to take that power, joy, and peace into the world through the Dharma Talks given by Turīya and discover your own Pathway to Enlightenment.

On this path, we melt down the layers of conditioning that prevent us from seeing life clearly. Melting Pot Buddhism is a form of American Buddhism based on Vajrayana, Zen, and Mysticism, and Bhakti Yoga, created by Turīya for the benefit of her students. The hallmark of Melting Pot Buddhism is practical techniques based on ancient teachings that we can implement to create happy, bright lives in our modern world.

In addition to the free Saturday practice sessions, Turīya also offers Meditation Empowerment Workshops for those ready to take the next step of investing in their spiritual development. See the calendar for the next opportunity.

Turīya, also as known as Jenna Sundell, is a Buddhist monk who studied with Rama, a 20th century Buddhist Master. She founded Dharma Center in 1998, and has taught meditation since 1994 at locations throughout the country. She is the author of Worlds of Power, Worlds of Light and Peace with Pain: Your Guide to Life in a Malfunctioning Body.

Volunteer Meeting at 2pm – in person & on Skype
Oct 22 @ 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm

Volunteer at Dharma Center!

Dharma Center is a volunteer-based organization, and we need your help to keep the doors open!

We begin each Volunteer meeting with a short meditation, which is always a super high way to kick things off. Everyone is welcome to come explore how we each can share the Dharma and make the world a brighter, happier place for us all.

We also have a ton of fun at the volunteer meetings, and often go to the movies or out for dinner afterwards!

Join us for the Volunteer Meeting to learn about our latest projects, including reaching out to find new students.

If you cannot make it in person, join us via SKYPE!
Join the Volunteer email list to get a reminder with the link so you can video-conference with us for the meeting.

Visit our Volunteer Page to find the Skype link to connect with the ongoing Volunteer conservation right now.

In addition to providing an opportunity for career growth, volunteering is a wonderful way to cultivate personal growth. Mindfulness can be a difficult practice, especially in the beginning and especially when the people you spend time with do not practice. If no one you associate with can feel your mind state, it’s easy to pretend that you’re being mindful when you’re not. You may be the happiest one in your group, but could you be happier? That is the next challenge for you… to believe in and become the possibility of becoming even happier and brighter.

We have projects large and small, one-time and ongoing, in person and from the comfort of your own home via the internet.

If you cannot make the meeting, contact Hathor at volunteer@dharmacenter.com to learn how you can help.
